The single most pressing issue facing our state is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Fiscal / I have stated on multiple occasions, we must live within our means. To suggest cuts to services at this point is premature absent an appropriate budget review and income projections. This recent global crisis has not left our Township immune from its crippling effects. The loss of revenue has been felt not only to our government body but also to our residents. We must be prepared to adjust as much as we would in our homes. Above all, as with any elected body, the welfare and protection of its citizenry is paramount bringing growth both in business and residents

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I bring a unique background of personal and professional experience. working in the health care industry, I know first hand the challenges we each face insuring reliable healthcare for our family. So too, as an attorney, the current social and economic environment lends a good deal of daily uncertainty. Civil and criminal violence, family disruption, and attacks to our faith are all greatly unsettling. As a small business owner, I feel each day the challenges of keeping my business viable and relevant. Finally, with the many charitable and commercial board of directors I have served, this has fine tuned my decision and collaborative skills.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Active personal and family involvement in: State Bar of Michigan, Treasure - State Bar Religious Liberty Section, Irish American Lawyers Association, Catholic Lawyers Association, Secretary - Fr Kern Foundation, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth Elks, Plymouth Lions, American Legion, and VFW. Also an active parishioner and volunteer at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Plymouth.

What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
We must reopen the state a quickly as possible based on sound science and medicine. As a first responder working in the medical field, I see first hand the fears and concerns of our citizens. In a collaborative manner; state, regional, county and municipalities must develop a keen focus as to economic recovery. This ought not be a political process.

How will you address the calls for racial justice and police reform?
All politics are local. Plymouth Township, due in large part to its current administration, has set an outstanding example of leadership as it relates to this subject. I am a strong supporter of our first responders and will always advocate for transparency with our public safety units. Residents new and old have an expectation that when an emergency occurs, seasoned trained professionals with respond. Insurance companies rate much of their coverage and subsequent premiums by the quality of community services. I advocate for the protection of people, their property, and their civil rights.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:
The Township has made tremendous advances over the past four years due in large part to skilled and competent leadership. We are on a solid trajectory of success from a previous administration of chaos. My hope is to add to this solid board of battle tested leaders and provide further transparent government.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
We are blessed to live in such a special place called Plymouth Township. I intend to bring a firm and independent voice to the board while listening intently to the need of you the residents. I humbly ask for your support and vote.
