Why are you seeking this office?

I am tired of career politicians who create solutions for problems that do not exist and shy away from real problems. We need leaders who don't just keep blowing up problems out of proportion and divide the nation but actually present solutions to fix them.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have boots on the ground and working hard to go around the district, whereas, my primary challenger is no where to be seen. The path to citizenship for both of us is quite different as well. I am a LEGAL immigrant, successful business woman and a mother of 3 children. My life skills prepared me for good stewardship of my congressional chair.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

The Dingell's stayed in power for nearly 90 years by being moderate democrats. However, Ms. Dingell has succumbed to the pressure of the progressives and has moved far left. The constituents are mostly middle class, blue collar, moderate citizens and the far left policies have betrayed their trust.

Do you think the federal government can or should do more to curb inflation, which has led to an increase in prices for food, gas and other goods?

Yes, absolutely.

Do you support changing the state’s constitution to ensure that women have to right to get an abortion?

Abortion is not a right and neither should it be used as a form of contraception. It is not the woman's body but the baby's body that is being destroyed in this process. We need to have an honest and open discussion regarding this because it is a life that begins at conception and taking that life should not be deemed as a right. There are many ways to avoid a pregnancy and women should have access to various forms of contraception to avoid getting pregnant and there should be proper education regarding different options that are available.

Do you support the Raise the Wage ballot initiative, which would increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2027 and provide cost-of-living increases in later years?

No. States that have different costs of living should have different minimum wage requirements. If $15 is good in California or NY, it is a lot of money in Alabama or Mississippi. We should abolish Federal minimum wage.

Would you support an election initiative to require another audit of the 2020 presidential election, to transfer authority over the audit from the Secretary of State to a newly created auditing panel, and to change how elections are reviewed in the future?

No. SoS is an elected position. The question does not suggest whether the audit panel will include elected representatives or not. Unelected panels should not determine how the elections are conducted or certified.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

TERM LIMITS.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

1. Pursued the legal pathway to citizenship, 2. Living the American Dream, 3. Established a business which was awarded the 'fastest growing 50 women-owned businesses in America' 4. Global business experience.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Be yourself.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I have transparently placed my priorities right on the website (www.HimaForCongress.com). I do not try to be politically correct. I do not intend to become a career politician and hence signed the term limits contract to hold me accountable to it. I view this job as a public service and not a career.
