Canton Girl Hurt After Mother Trashes Home: Police
A four-year-old was bleeding when Canton Police arrived Sunday afternoon, according to reports.

CANTON, MI — A four-year-old Canton girl was injured Sunday after her mother went on a rampage, damaging a home in the 3100 block of Sheldon Road, according to a Canton Observer report. A witness said the child had cut her forehead on a broken window.
“Police, believing the child could be in danger because of the mother's behavior, tried to take the child as the mother began resisting them and kicking. She also spit on one officer and made death threats, the report said.”
“At one point, a pit bull came into the room and tried to intervene, the report said. The mother's fiancé told police that her actions have been erratic since she began therapy for cancer.”
