CANTON, MI — A Canton Police officer has resigned following the revelation he reportedly made racist comments on social media, according to a news release. The officer, Kenneth Kleszcz, allegedly told African Americans to "go home monkeys" during a live feed of an election protest earlier in the month. Canton police became aware of the situation on Nov. 11 and immediately launched an investigation and suspended Kleszcz.
