Detroit Job-Seekers: Taco Bell Hosting 32 Hiring Parties in April

METRO DETROIT, MI — The summer job season is approaching and Taco Bell is taking a unique spin on finding hirable locals in Metro Detroit.

It's a new staffing approach called Hiring Parties – a unique spin on a job fair. From April 22-27, Taco Bell be will hosting 32 Hiring Parties in the Detroit area.

With the national unemployment rate at a record low (3.8%) and Detroit not too far off at 4%, the effort is expected to help Taco Bell attract job-seekers in the tight labor market.

Here are the details:

WHAT:

Taco Bell is making the job hunt fun with Hiring Parties. There will be free food and festivities served up alongside on-the-spot job applications and interviews. Job-seekers may even have the opportunity to be hired on the spot. Taco Bell will be hosting nearly 600 Hiring Parties across the country.

WHO:

Detroit area residents of all ages and with all levels of experience are invited to attend Taco Bell’s Hiring Parties – from college students looking for a part-time job this summer, to residents looking for a management career.

WHY:

Attendees will get to learn about the education and career opportunities a job at Taco Bell offers, such as tuition assistance, scholarships and career development programs.
