Don't Forget to 'Fall Back' for Daylight Savings and More This Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are five events you should know about in the Plymouth-Canton area.

1. Fall Colors Saturday Hike
- When: Saturday, 11 a.m.
- Where: Maybury State Park, Concession Building off 8 Mile Road entrance
- What: Join the Friends of Maybury for their monthly First Saturday Hike. The topic in November will be fall colors, and hopefully there will still be plenty of leaves left on the trees. The hike, led by one of the park's historians, will take you through the woods and out to the pond and back. It is a length of approximately 3 miles, and a fairly easy hike suitable for all ages and abilities.
2. Daylight Savings Time Ends
- When: Sunday, 2 a.m.
- What: Daylight Saving Time in 2013 ends in the United States on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 a.m. You will be setting your clock back one hour, following the adage of “spring forward, fall back.”
3. Historical Museum Masquerade Tea
- When: Sunday, 2-4 p.m.
- Where: Plymouth Historical Museum
- What: Mrs. Davis's 1863 Diary and Victorian Mourning Artifacts, with Liz Kerstens. Enjoy tea delicacies an the museum's own special tea, "Mary's Blend." Costumes are encouraged. Tickets are $25 for Friends of the Plymouth Historical Museum members and $30 for non-members.
