1. Michigan International Women’s Show

• When: Saturday, May 4, 2013, 10:00 am
• Where: Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave, Novi
• What: The Michigan International Women’s Show returns to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Thursday, May 2 and runs through Sunday, May 5. “The Michigan International Women's Show celebrates 18 years of food, fashion and fun and everyone is invited to the party,” said Beth Anderson, executive show manager of Southern Shows. “Grab your mom, sister or girlfriend and spend the day doing everything you love. Shopping, cooking, fashion shows, makeovers and more.”

2. Community Garage Sale

• When: Saturday, May 4, 2013, 9:00 am
• Where: Highland Lakes Condominiums, 20301 Silver Spring Dr, Northville

3. Free Comic Book Day

• When: Saturday, May 4, 2013, 10:00 am
• Where: Comic City, 42727 Ford Rd, Canton
• What: May 4th is Free Comic Book Day at all Comic City locations, from 10am til 8pm! Each person who comes in will receive 3 absolutely free comic books from a wide selection of choices.
