Euchre Tournament, Hockey and More This Weekend

1. "In a World..." at The Penn

• When: Friday, Saturday, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.; Sunday, 4:45 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• Where: Penn Theatre, 760 Penniman Ave., Plymouth
• What: An underachieving voice coach finds herself competing in the movie trailer voice-over profession against her arrogant father and his protégé. Rated R.

2. Veterans Day at IKEA

• When: Saturday, 10 a.m.
• Where: IKEA, 41640 Ford Rd., Canton
• What: As a thank you for service to our country, IKEA would like to serve all active and retired Military men and women a free entrée.  Choose from either a sandwich, hot dish or entrée salad. See a restaurant cashier for details.

3. Canton Lions Euchre Tournament

• When: Saturday, 7 p.m.
• Where: Plymouth Elks Club, 41700 Ann Arbor Rd., Plymouth
• What: The Canton Lions Club will host a Euchre Tournament Saturday night. Doors open at 6 p.m. with play beginning at 7 p.m. Cash prizes, 50/50 raffle are included again this year. A $20 registration is payable at the door. RSVP to cantonlionseuchre@yahoo.com to ensure your spot for the tournament.

4. Plymouth Whalers Host Windsor Spitfires

• When: Saturday, 7 p.m.
• Where: Compuware Arena, 14900 N. Beck Road, Plymouth
• What: The Plymouth Whalers host the Windsor Spitfires in Ontario Hockey League action at Compuware Arena. Before and during the game, the Whalers will be honoring the family of Pat Peake. Pat Peake Sr. was a long-time scout for the Whalers who passed away last summer.
