Guy Fieri Opens First MI Chicken Guy! In Metro Detroit Saturday

LIVONIA, MI — Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is opening Michigan's first Chicken Guy! restaurant in Livonia on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Chicken Guy! restaurant, located at 30130 Plymouth Road, between Merriman and Middlebelt roads, will be the chain's 8th location and is the first of 19 planned locations by The Tomey Group in southeast Michigan in the next few years.

Although Fieri isn't expected to be at the grand opening, you can expect long lines at the restaurant for its signature sandwiches and chicken tender combos with 22 different types of sauces to choose from, including classics such as Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ and Wasabi Honey.

In addition, the restaurant will honor Livonia Fire and Police by offering them a free sandwich and side by showing their badge at the grand opening. The offer is valid on opening day only.
