Man Arrested In Metro Detroit Road Rage Shooting: Police

There were no injuries and there is no threat to the public, police said.

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was arrested in connection with a Friday morning road rage shooting in Canton Township, police said.

The shooting happened at 8:27 a.m. Friday in a Walmart parking lot located on Michigan Aveune and Belleville Road in Canton, police said.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a road rage dispute that escalated in the parking lot.

A 29-year-old Van Buren Township man was arrested in connection with the shooting, police said.
