Man Charged In Canton Walmart Road Rage Shooting: Police
There were no injuries in the shooting, police said.

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A Van Buren Township man has been charged in connection with a Canton Township road rage shooting that happened last week, according to police.
Devonte James, 29, was charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and three counts of weapons felony firearm.
He was placed in jail with a $250,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for May 9. If convicted of assault with intent to murder, he could face up to life in prison.

The shooting happened at 8:27 a.m. Friday in a Walmart parking lot located on Michigan Aveune and Belleville Road in Canton Township, police said.
There were no injuries in the shooting, police said.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a road rage dispute that escalated in the parking lot.
