Man Reports Vehicle Break-In in Canton

The following information was provided by the Canton Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Canton Township Police met Jan. 21 at the station with a man reporting a vehicle break-in, according to a police report.

The man told police his wife parked the vehicle in the couple’s driveway on Jan. 3 and locked the vehicle and when she returned the following day, she noticed someone had opened the glove box and four watches were missing, the report indicated.

The man told police he had been out of town until Jan. 21, which is why it took so long to report the apparent break-in, the report indicated.
