ANN ARBOR, MI — Michigan football suspended head football coach Jim Harbaugh for the Wolverines first three games of the 2023 season, according to multiple reports.
The suspension comes after NCAA officials said Harbaugh violated numerous recruiting policies, and after a four-game suspension by the NCAA fell apart.
Harbaugh, 59, acknowledged the Level II violations, but maintained he never purposefully misled investigators, according to the report.

Michigan's first three games are against East Carolina, UNLV and Bowling Green - all home games - which the Wolverines will likely be favored to win.
The Wolverines are coming off back-to-back Big Ten championships and college football playoff appearances. The team is also returning most of its starters from last year and will begin the season ranked #2 in the AP and Coaches poll.
