MICHIGAN — One of college football's most heated in-state rivalries is getting a primetime slot.

The Michigan Wolverines will face the Michigan State Spartans at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing on Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. on NBC. It’s the first time the Spartans will host the Wolverines for a night game.

The Wolverines defeated the Spartans 29-7 last season at the Big House in Ann Arbor where a postgame brawl broke out in the stadium's tunnel.
