Motorcyclist Killed In Wayne County Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Easter Sunday in Wayne County, according to police.
The crash happened on Easter Sunday, in the area of Plymouth and Beech Daly in Redford Township, according to police.
Investigators believe the motorcyclist was riding north on Beech Daly when the driver of a white Cadillac tried to make a left turn heading south on Beech Daly, causing the crash.

The white Cadillac did not stop and fled the scene, according to police.
When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist lying next to the motorcycle, which was on fire, according to police.

Officers dragged the motorcyclist away from the fire and called for medical help, according to police.
The motorcyclist, who was not identified by police, died at a nearby hospital, according to police.
Investigators did find the white Cadillac in Detroit a few hours after the crash. They believe they have identified the driver, but are still searching for the person.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
