Panda Express Opening Monday In Canton Township

The restaurant is best-known for its world famous orange chicken and firecracker shrimp​.

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Panda Express, the largest Asian dining concept in the nation, is opening a restaurant in Canton Township on Monday, according to the restaurant.

The new restaurant, opening at 45747 Michigan Ave. between Beck and Belleville roads, will also hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with members of the Canton Chamber of Commerce on Monday at 9 a.m.

To celebrate the new opening, the first 88 customers will receive a surprise gift, according to the restaurant.

The restaurant is best-known for its world-famous orange chicken and firecracker shrimp. Other fan favorites include its award-winning honey walnut shrimp, beef broccoli dish and wok-fired shrimp and fresh vegetables with the bold flavors of Sichuan cuisine.

"Our entire Panda team is grateful to serve the Canton community by providing new jobs and supporting local organizations through fundraising opportunities," Panda Express Area Coach of Operations Semir Ponjevic said. "We hope to be a lasting part of the community and welcome all guests into our doors to try our American Chinese favorites and discover their own."

The restaurant will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (drive-thru open until 10 p.m.) and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (drive-thru open until 10:30 p.m.) and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (drive-thru open until 9:30 p.m.)
