Hello Field Families,

Find out what's happening in Plymouth-Cantonfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

We accomplished our first successful week of school!  There was community and culture being built in every classroom this week.  I was able to observe students being kind to one another and most children were excited to be back at school.  We are all so thankful to have our students in school.  Below is information about the upcoming week.

  • Picture Day is coming!  Picture day will be on Friday, September 24th.  Please be on the lookout for the flier.  An electronic flier can be found HERE.

  • As you know, we have a new back parking lot where student arrival and dismissal takes place.  Our back parking lot is for staff parking only.  The front parking lot is for families to park to drop off or pick up your child.  If you are choosing to park please make arrangements to meet your child at the front gate on the walking side of our building so that we can minimize the amount of foot traffic on campus.

  • Plymouth-Canton Community School is hiring.  Are you looking for a fun way to spend a few hours a day feeding the students of our district and make some extra money?  Join our team!  We have immediate openings at elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. We have permanent and substitute positions open. Check out employment opportunities at: http://www.pccsk12.com/departments/human-resources/p-ccs-employment or call Brenda Blankenship at 734-416-3013

Although meals are free, it is still important to complete the free and reduced application.  The application supports other funding in areas of education, including discounts for pay-to- play, access for computer WIFI, college application fees and standardized testing fees.

  • Sharing Information with Other Programs (PDF)

  • Please note: a new application must be submitted each school year.

Questions about the free or reduced meal program or application? Call 734-416-7702.

    • Food shortage and supply chain are nationwide issues, and our district cafeterias also may experience unavailable items or last minute replacements.  While we will do our best to ensure consistency, menus are subject to change. We will do our best to notify you if there are any changes. Menus on pccsk12.nutrislice.com may not reflect these changes. If you have a concern, please contact your Cafeteria Manager to verify the menu of the day.

    • Plymouth-Canton Community Schools produces a weekly podcast with all the important district information for students, staff and families.  You can view the click  last LPT in 3 podcast for this school year on the district’s official YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yf64HoAF25g

Thank you for your continued support of Field Elementary.  Have a great rest of your weekend.
