Hello Field Families,

The first Parent Council meeting for the 2021-2022 school year will take place on Friday, October 22 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm at the E.J McClendon Educational Center. The meeting will be recorded and will be available for viewing on the P-CCS Official YouTube Channel afterward. The agenda is attached and includes the rest of the scheduled Parent Council meeting dates for the remainder of the school year. You can email parentcouncil@pccsk12.com with any questions about the meeting.

Please drive safely while in the school parking lot. Your child and other people’s children arriving safely to school is most important to us. The front parking lot is not a drop-off zone. It is for you to park and walk your child over to the school building. Our drop-off loop moves really quickly and the entire line from start to finish is complete in 13 minutes. Give it a try!

Thank you to the PTO and all the families that joined us for our Culver’s Share Night. It was great to see everyone. We were able to donate 210 canned goods to a local food bank.

Our PTO has opened a spirit wear store. Please see the link below to order spirit wear. This is not a fundraiser.

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools will host a Community Virtual Town Hall meeting on Tues, Oct. 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by P-CCS Superintendent of Schools Monica Merritt and she, along with other P-CCS leaders, will be answering questions from the community about the district’s return to school plan. Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is hosting a virtual job fair for many open positions throughout the district. The deadline to register for an interview is Monday, October 18, 2021. Open positions include cafeteria aides and substitute cafeteria aids, cleaning assistants, paraprofessionals, licensed technicians (HVAC and Electrician), art, music and physical education teachers, speech pathologists, school psychologist, school social workers, security offices, high school health, and physical education teachers and middle school social studies teachers. You can nominate a person or a group for either an Extra Miller or a VIP Award anytime through the official district website. P-CCS recognizes outstanding volunteers who are making a difference in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. The Board of Education also recognizes outstanding faculty and staff for extraordinary efforts to support students.
