Joan Strautz Memorial Scholarship Application

In 2008, the children of Joan Strautz created this memorial scholarship in her honor. She was a  60+year resident of the Plymouth community and a graduate of Plymouth High School. She was  a popular and active student serving as “School Mayor” for the Class of 1947. All of her children  attended and graduated from the Plymouth-Canton School District. Her son-in-law and his  daughter now teach in the District. Even though she traveled extensively after retirement, she  always considered Plymouth her home. It is for that reason the family would like to award this  scholarship to a deserving student(s) in the district who is pursuing a career in education. This  scholarship of $1,000 will be provided to a graduating senior(s).
