Purpose
Find out what's happening in Plymouth-Cantonfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
A scholarship to provide financial assistance to a Plymouth-Canton Community Schools graduate who plans to be a teacher.
This scholarship was established by Sara J. Morgan and James C. McKenna in honor of Margaret McKenna and Pauline Morgan who taught for many years in our school district.
Amount to be awarded
$750 non-renewable scholarship will be awarded to the selected student
Criteria
▪ Senior in the Plymouth-Canton Community school district
▪ Plans to be a teacher
▪ GPA of 3.0 or higher
▪ Will be attending an accredited Michigan University or College
Application Requirements
▪ Completed application form (see attached)
▪ An essay (1-2pages) about a teacher that has influenced your life ▪ Copy of current high school transcript
▪ One letter of recommendation from a current or former teacher
