P-CCS SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT: Miller Elementary Celebrates World Read Aloud Day!
-
The celebration, which had originally been scheduled for February 2nd before schools were closed for inclement weather, saw five authors virtually “visit” Miller. All of the authors were generous with their time and offered to reschedule! Opportunities like this are so memorable for our students! Bringing these creators face-to-face with our students in a virtual setting allows students to engage directly with these authors.
-
Happy 50th birthday to 88.1 The Park! This student-operated radio station first signed on the air on February 14, 1972. The station was on the air for six hours that first day. A lot has changed over the years, but one thing has remained: the impact on the lives of students.
-
The 50th birthday of WSDP-FM 88.1 The Park is also being celebrated at the Plymouth Historical Museum. This exhibit will be on display until June 2022.
-
88.1 The Park will hold its annual record show this Saturday, February 19, in the Salem High School Cafeteria from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
-
Admission is $3 and students at Canton, Plymouth and Salem High Schools will receive free admission with a student ID.
-
-
P-CCS, in conjunction with the Wayne County Health Department, will be offering a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the community.
-
WHEN: Wednesday February 23rd - 3:30 - 5:30 pm
-
WHERE: Canton High School Cafeteria (across from the main office, park by the flagpole)
To receive a dose at the clinic, pre-register at the official district website: PCCSK12.com.
