P-CCS Students & Families: The excitement continues to build for the 2021-22 school year, and we are looking very forward to welcoming our students back this fall. While the summer is not over yet, we hope that this time has brought you the rest and ability to recharge that you all deserve.

During the summer, we have dedicated time to continue working on our school start and end times with the goal of building a bell schedule that is in the best interest of the well-being of our students, staff, and families. The topic is complex and incorporates many different aspects of our district, but as always we will keep the health and well-being of our students as the top priority. As we study this into the future in collaboration with a committee of district stakeholders, we will look to explore more longer-term changes to the schedule for future school years. As a first step in this work, we are pleased to announce some slight modifications to our daily schedule for the 2021-22 school year. We are able to push back the P-CEP start time by 15 minutes (to 7:25 a.m.) while moving our elementary end time to 4:01 p.m., with both changes maintaining the level of our current transportation services that we provide.
Our school start and end times for 2021-22 will therefore be as follows:

Elementary: 8:55 a.m. to 4:01 p.m.
Starkweather Academy’s bell times will be 9 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and our Post-secondary Programs (GOALS and Madonna ASD) will continue to follow the middle school schedule.
