PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES – SIGN UP OPENS 10.12.21 @ 5:00PM

Based on positive feedback from both parents and teaching staff, West Middle School will be continuing the parent-teacher conference sign-up format for the past several years.  Parent teacher conferences are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 and Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:00-7:15 PM.  A letter with detailed sign-up instructions will be emailed to students and parents using the email addresses in Mi-Star on Thursday, October 7, 2021 and a reminder phone call will be made on Monday, October 11, 2021 @ 6:00pm.  An electronic copy of the detailed instructions will also be posted on the WMS website. 

Five minute conferences will be scheduled using an online registration tool – PTC Wizard.  In order to schedule a parent-teacher conference, parents will need to do the following:

Go to https://westmiddle-pccs.ptcwizard.com (a link is also available on the WMS website).  Create a PTC Wizard account (login & password).  Use your account to sign up for parent-teacher conferences with the teachers you would like to see.  The conference scheduling window will open at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  After scheduling a conference, you will receive a confirmation email with your parent-teacher conference schedule.

The following information will be helpful as you plan for West Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences: 

• Parents of students with last names A-K should attend Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

(Sign up available from 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 until 5:00 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021.)

• Parents of students with last names L-Z should attend Thursday, October 28, 2021.

(Sign up available from 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.)

Parents with a conflict on their assigned date may attend on the other night.  Conferences will be held via Zoom.Conferences will be scheduled for a five minute block of time.  When scheduling your conferences, be mindful of the time needed to log in to your next appointment.  In order to allow as many parents as possible to conference with WMS staff, please note that only one five minute time slot per subject area is available for each student.  If unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please remember to cancel. Please know that West Middle School staff is always able to communicate via email or phone regarding your child’s progress.
