Parents will be able to sign up for a scheduled conference with teachers via Zoom. The instructions for signing up for a conference via PTC Wizard were emailed to parents on October 6, 2021. Pioneer Girls Volleyball:
Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the Pioneer Middle School volleyball team. Tryouts will take place Oct. 20-22 from 3:15-4:30pm in the Pioneer gym. All interested students must have a sports physical on file or bring it with them to tryouts. The sports physical must be dated after April 15, 2021. Students will be required to wear masks. If you have any questions, please email Coach Palmer: john.palmer@pccsk12.com or athletic liaison Jenny Fenner: jennifer.fenner@pccsk12.com.
Job Opening:
We currently have an opening at Pioneer for a special education paraprofessional. If you are interested in the position, please access the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools employment page at the following link: https://www.pccsk12.com/departments/human-resources/p-ccs-employment
Our opening is listed under job code: 08-1657
PCCS Job Fair:
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is hosting a virtual job fair for many open positions throughout the district. The deadline to register for an interview is Monday, October 18, 2021. Open positions include cafeteria aides and substitute cafeteria aids, cleaning assistant, paraprofessionals, licenced technicians (HVAC and Electrician), art, music and physical education teachers, speech pathologists, school psychologist, school social workers, security offices, high school health and physical education teachers and middle school social studies teachers. For more information, please click here.
Water Bottles:
We are finding that many students do not have refillable water bottles throughout the day. Since the mouth pieces to our drinking fountains have to remain off, we have installed three water bottle filling stations in the building. Please remind your student to bring a refillable water bottle each day so they can stay hydrated.
Positivity Project:
Next week during Homeroom, our Positivity Project character focus will be: Integrity. Please see the attached character card for more information on this topic.
