You must be a 2022 graduate from Canton, Plymouth, Salem, or Starkweather High School. You must declare your intent to become an educator in a public school and explain why. Your application must include the following:

1. Personal resume that includes: Co-curricular activities Experience working with children, Transcript of grades, and ACT or SAT scores, and College you plan to attend
2. Two letters of recommendation: One should be from a P-CCS teacher/counselorOne should be from an adult who knows you in a different capacity. Your relationship with this person must be explained in the letter.
3. A one page typed essay that addresses the following topics:
a. What teacher(s) in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools had the biggest influence on you while you were a student? What qualities did this teacher possess?
b. Which of these qualities do you have?
c. What experiences have you had that demonstrate these qualities?
d. What do you plan to teach? (grade level and subject area)

Up to one student will be selected from each P-CCS high school to receive a P-CEA Future Teacher Scholarship. Each scholarship will be at least $500.
