Pet Owners Report More Needle-Laced Food in Canton

Past incidents have resulted in surgeries for pets.

Canton residents have reported another instance of food laced with needles in an area of a subdivision populated by residents' pets, according to the Canton Observer.

According to the report, Clarence Baker III found some laced food last Thursday while walking his dogs. 

Similar instances have been reported dating back to October 2012, the report indicated, in areas including Wall Street and Fifth and Empire State Drive.

Anyone who finds similarly tampered food or who has information about the case is asked to call Canton Police, (734) 394-5400.
