Plymouth Man Reports More Than $1,500 in Fraudulent Charges on Credit Card
Police say all of the charges were for Apple products made on the company's website.

A Plymouth Township man reported fraudulent activity on his credit card on Nov. 6, according to a police report.
The man told police he was notified by the security division of billmelater.com, a subsidiary of Pay Pal, that on Nov. 6 around 4 p.m., $1,603.78 was charged to his American Express Card, the report said.
The man said that the charges were for Apple products made on apple.com, and Billmelater had opened an investigation into the matter and had a suspect, the report said.

The man told police he wanted to press charges on the person, whoever he or she was.
Police received information from Billmelater and Apple, discovering the order had been cancelled and refunded to the man's card. The number on the application went to a GM Truck plant in Pontiac, the IP address used was in Ann Arbor and the mailing address for delivery was in Detroit, the report said.
