Plymouth Township Man Reports Stolen Boat Lift

Plymouth Township Police responded Jan. 13 to Cleat Street for a report of a stolen boat lift, according to a police report.

According to the report, the man told police someone stole the lift, which had been locked with a cable to a utility pole, and it appeared someone had attempted to cut through the cable before finding another way to take the lift.

Police found several screws on the ground, the report indicated. The man told police he had locked the lift because someone had tried to steal the lift the previous year.

Police do not have suspects.
