Plymouth Township Man Reports Theft From Vehicle

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Plymouth Township Police met Feb. 25 with a man reporting property stolen from his vehicle, according to a police report.

The man told police someone stole his wallet, driver’s license, company-issued laptop computer and jacket from the rear seat of his Chevy Malibu, the report indicated.

The theft occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 18, the man told police.

The man told police he usually locks his vehicle when it is unattended, but wasn’t sure if it had been locked when the crime occurred, according to the report.  He told police he did not notice any damage to the vehicle.

Police could not find any evidence at the scene that could lead to a suspect and could not find any signs of forced entry, the report indicated.
