Plymouth VFW Post Auxiliary To Hold Their Annual Meat Raffle
If you've never been to a Meat Raffle, you're missing one of the funnest events that you can attend. Details about all of the fun are below.
The VFW Auxiliary, at the Plymouth VFW Post, is hosting their annual meat raffle, and this is a fun event! This raffle is happening on Saturday, November 8th at the Plymouth VFW Post. Doors open at 2:00 PM, and the raffle begins at 3:00 PM. It's a good idea to get there a little early.
For those who have never heard of a meat raffle, it is basically just that. They raffle off a LOT of meat, and it's a great time! This event begins at 3:00 PM, and lasts about 4 hours. If you get hungry, they'll be selling hot dogs, and my absolute favorite, homemade Sloppy Joes, and Sloppy Dogs! They'll also have Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Baked Beans which I'm sure are going to be awesome! Bottom Line: You'll eat good!
There will be turkeys, hams, steaks, pork roasts, gourmet burgers, chickens, brats, many baskets of goodies, and much more, to be raffled off. There are also, separate basket raffles! Lot's of prizes to be won!

So here's the bottom line: For $20 you will be entered into each of 14 rounds. Every round has at least 14 prizes, and you have a chance to win, once each round. The 14th, and final round, has some of the very best prizes of all.
There will also me many basket raffles for great prizes, so be ready to have fun with that! All in all, it is very hard to walk away without at least one prize, and a good chance that you walk away with
multiple prizes, including the next day's dinner!

Patty Brothers, with the help of her husband Bob, who served our nation in Vietnam has been coordinating this event for years, does an awesome job, and has put a ton of work into making this event, a great time for all of the folks who show up. You will also see a bunch of our Auxiliary members volunteering as always, to make this a fabulous event.
There is one big thing that Patty would want to tell folks. You will definitely want to bring a cooler with you, to take any prizes that you win, home with you. So bring a cooler. Bring a friend. Bring a friend with a cooler, and prepare to have a good time with a lot of fun people!
