Police Say Man Stole A Donation Box At Taco Bell

The suspect is on the loose. Do you recognize him?

PLYMOUTH, MI — A man walked into a Taco Bell then allegedly walked out with a stolen donation box, according to Westland police.

The incident happened on Nov. 26 at a Taco Bell restaurant at S. Merriman Rd. in Westland, ClickonDetroit reports. Police say that the stolen donation box contained cash related to an essay content for college students to receive tuition reimbursement.

Surveillance footage captured a photo of the suspect and his vehicle and now police are asking for your help identifying the man.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 60s, 6 feet tall with a medium build and light hair. He was spotted driving off from Taco Bell in a red vehicle, possibly a late model Ford Fusion.
