Cash, Marijuana Stolen in Plymouth Township Armed Home Invasion

Police are searching for two suspects they say bound victims with duct tape during break-in.

Plymouth Township Police are seeking two men in connection with an armed house invasion at Halyard and Ridge roads, according to a news release from the department.

According to the news release, officers responded at about 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 22 to the Oak Haven Manufactured Home Community for a report of a home invasion that had just occurred by two men armed with guns.

During the home invasion, the news release indicated, the victims were forced to the ground and bound with duct tape. One victim's small child was in the home, but was not harmed, the news release indicated.

One of the victims, who told police he has a medical marijuana card and is a caregiver and marijuana grower, reported a quantity of marijuana and cash taken during the invasion. He told police the two suspects fled the scene in a red minivan.

Plymouth Township Police released a composite sketch of one of the suspects and is seeking any information regarding the home invasion. Leads can be reported to Det. Charles Rozum of the Plymouth Township Police Department at (734) 354-3246.
