Popular Plymouth Restaurant Closing After 23 Years
Little Bangkok Cuisine, a well known Thai restaurant on Forest Avenue, is permanently shutting its doors later this month.
PLYMOUTH, MI — A popular downtown Plymouth restaurant is closing down after more than two decades.
Little Bangkok Cuisine, a well known Thai restaurant on Forest Avenue, is permanently shutting its doors later this month on Feb. 25, according to a social media post.
"To each and every one of you who have graced our tables, shared stories, and become part of the Little Bangkok family, we extend our sincerest thanks," organizers with the restaurant wrote in the post. "Your support has been the heartbeat of our restaurant, and we are truly grateful for the memories and moments we’ve shared."

Organizers with the restaurant asked anyone with valued gift certificates to use them before their closing date.
"Your loyalty and support have been the foundation of our success, and we want to ensure you have the opportunity to enjoy the flavors of Little Bangkok Cuisine one last time," organizers with the restaurant wrote in the post.

Organizers with the restaurant said they're "extended family members" are planning to open a new Thai fusion restaurant in Plymouth, but they didn’t share many details.
"As we embark on this poignant transition, we are delighted to share that our extended family members will be embarking on a new chapter with a Thai fusion restaurant. Their culinary creations are nothing short of exquisite, and we wholeheartedly encourage you to support them in their new venture here in Plymouth, Michigan," organizers with the restaurant wrote in the post.
