Read with a Dog, Canton Trick-or-Treat Parade and More This Week
Here are four events to help fuel your week in Plymouth and Canton.

If you need a boost as we head into October, the Plymouth-Canton Patch calendar is filled with interesting and helpful events.
Here are just a few to brighten your week:
1. Read with a Dog
Kids and Tweens in grades K-6, can improve their reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a Canine Good Citizen at the Canton Public Library on Monday. Sign up begins at 6:25 PM at the Children's Desk and is on a first come, first served basis. Sessions start at 10 minutes per sitting.2. Canton Trick-or-Treat Parade
Parade participants will enjoy seeing the Summit all decked out on Oct. 30, from 4-7 p.m. Dozens of themed stations which will be set up for ages 12 and under. There will be two path options with age appropriate themed stations, one spooky and one not.3. Happy Senior Halloween
Wear your halloween costume and enjoy cupcakes and cookies and a beverage from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Canton Senior Center.4. 'The Butler' at The Penn
As Cecil Gaines serves eight presidents during his tenure as a butler at the White House, the civil rights movement, Vietnam, and other major events affect this man's life, family, and American society.
