Shock-tober Continues at The Penn and More This Week

Here are four events to help fuel your week in Plymouth and Canton.

If you need a boost as we head into October, the Plymouth-Canton Patch calendar is filled with interesting and helpful events. 

Here are just a few to brighten your week: 

1. Moon and Stars Program

Join lively astronomy popularizer Mike Best in this monthly discussion group on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Plymouth District Library. Mike shares his affection for the sky with adults and children over the age of 6. Call 734-459-BEST or email him at starmikebest@aol.com.

2. Canton Seniors: Annual Flu Shot Clinic

The flu shot clinic will be held at the Canton Senior Center at Summit in the Park on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling the Senior Center. Pneumonia shots will be $85. Flu Mist is $35. Please bring your Medicare and Insurance cards with you. It will billed.

3. Shock-tober Film Series at The Penn

Shock-tober continues this week with "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein." Two hapless freight handlers find themselves encountering Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man.

4. Haunted Horns Concert for First Step

The Canton Concert Band's 9th Annual Halloween Benefit Concert will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill. It is a benefit concert for First Step. Donations at door.
