Two Metro Detroit Men Die After Snow Blowing

A Canton man and Rochester Hills man tragically died after reportedly clearing snow this weekend.

ROCHESTER HILLS — Two Metro Detroit men have tragically died after reportedly clearing snow this weekend, according to police reports.

Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies and the Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to the 1100 block of Potomac in Rochester Hills on Dec. 11. Family members told police the 55-year-old man finished snow blowing his driveway at 3:30 p.m. and went to his bedroom. At 5:30 p.m., family members found him unresponsive and cold to the touch in his bedroom.

The Rochester Hills Fire Department provided telemetry to an attending physician at Crittenton Hospital who pronounced the victim dead.
