Walled Lake Western Defeats Canton in First Round Playoffs

The Canton Chiefs suffered a tough loss against Walled Lake Western in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs Friday. 

The Chiefs lost 41-44, after a 21 point comeback in the fourth quarter to take the lead 41-38. The Warriors came right back to win the game.

“The better team is moving on and we’re not, unfortunately," Canton head coach Tim Baechler told The Observer. "We gave ourselves a great chance to win. I’m so proud of our kids, it was an incredible comeback and a heck of a game if you’re a fan.”
