LIVONIA, MI — Officers rescued a deer that was stuck behind a metro Detroit home last weekend, according to police.

A Livonia resident reached out to officers after a deer got entangled in a rope hanging from a tree in her yard last Sunday morning, according to police.

Officers used a pole to free the deer, who eventually ran back into the woods.
