1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Random Triple Shooting In Oakland County: Sheriff
A man was arrested in connection with the shooting and is expected to be charged soon.
OXFORD, MI — One person died and two others were injured in a Tuesday night triple shooting in Oakland County, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting happened Tuesday night at 6:32 p.m. on Ray Road between Lapeer and North Oxford roads near Oxford High School in Oxford Township, according to the sheriff's office.
One person was killed in the shooting, while the other two victims are "on the road to physical healing," according to the sheriff's office.

A man was arrested in connection with the shooting, and officers also found a gun, according to the sheriff's office.
He was placed in jail and is expected to be charged in connection with the shooting soon.

Investigators believe the shooting was random as the man was passing through the neighborhood. Officers said he is a convicted felon with multiple past weapons offenses.
Officials did not immediately release further information about the suspected shooter.
A witness told WXYZ the victims may have been helping the shooter, who drove his car off the road into a ditch, when the shots rang out.
