1 Dead In Oakland County Drive-By Shooting: Sheriff
One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting, officials said.
PONTIAC, MI — A man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Oakland County last Friday, according to the sheriff's office.
The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. Friday near Auburn and Russell in Pontiac, officials said.
Witnesses told investigators that a man in a gray car fired multiple shots while driving west towards Auburn, officials said.

Officers found a 26-year-old man from Auburn Hills suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the wrist, torso and back, officials said.
He had a weak pulse and was taken to the hospital where he died, officials said.

During their investigation, detectives found multiple shell casings and identified the suspect vehicle, officials said.
Officers then stopped the suspected vehicle at Middlebelt and Long Lake roads in West Bloomfield Township, officials said.
Officers arrested a 32-year-old Pontiac man in connection with the drive-by shooting, officials said.
Officials were still investigating the shooting and asked anyone with information to call the sheriff's office at 248-858-4950.
"This senseless and cowardly act of a drive-by shooting has now destroyed multiple lives," said Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard. "The victim of this shooting and the perpetrator who should now spend his life behind bars. I am proud of our team that did an amazing job of catching the suspect within hours. I look forward to the justice system holding him fully accountable."
