2 Found Dead At Oakland County Hotel In Apparent Murder-Suicide
Police said the shooting happened Friday night at a hotel in Auburn Hills as officers responded to a domestic dispute call.

AUBURN HILLS, MI — Two people were found dead at an Oakland County hotel on Friday night in what police described as an apparent murder-suicide.
Police responded to the Holiday Inn Express at 3990 Baldwin Rd. in Auburn Hills around 10:45 p.m. after receiving a call about a possible domestic dispute, authorities said in a news release. According to police, officers arrived at the hotel and heard two gunshots while in the hallway approaching the room.
Officers immediately entered the room and found a 34-year-old Saginaw woman and a 33-year-old Vassar man deceased, police said. A 3-year-old girl was also found in the room unharmed.

According to police, a preliminary investigation indicated the man shot the woman before he turned the gun on himself.
Police said the child was taken to an area hospital as a precaution and later released to a family member.

The Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform autopsies on the deceased, who were not identified by police.
