4 Teens Arrested After 1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Oakland County Shooting: Police
All four suspects were placed in the Oakland County Children's Village, officials said.
PONTIAC, MI — Four teens have been arrested in connection with a Tuesday shooting that left an 18-year-old man dead and another teen injured in Oakland County, officials said.
The shooting happened at 7:49 p.m. near West South Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Pontiac, officials said.
When officers arrived, they found the 18-year-old Pontiac man unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest, officials said.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, officials said.
Officers also learned a 19-year-old Pontiac man was shot and wounded, officials said.

A bystander took him to a nearby hospital where he was taken into surgery and is expected to survive, officials said.
Investigators said there was a third victim in the shooting, but he was not injured.
Officials quickly arrested two teens, ages 15 and 13, in connection with the shooting, officials said.
A third suspect, a 17-year-old boy from Pontiac, was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Pontiac by the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team, which includes U.S. Marshals, a member of the sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Team and the Directed Patrol Unit, officials said.
Roughly two hours later, the final suspect, a 16-year-old Pontiac boy, turned himself in at the sheriff's office substation, accompanied by his mother, officials said.
All four suspects were placed in the Oakland County Children's Village, officials said.
"I commend the quick response by our team and the efficient work by our detectives to identify individuals involved," Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in a statement. "Senseless violence destroys far too many lives, and as a society, we must find a better path."
