Aldi is opening a new store in Rochester Hills as part of the grocer's plan to invest $13 million in Michigan.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Aldi is opening a new store in Rochester Hills as part of the grocer's plan to invest $13 million in Michigan, according to a news release from Michigan Community Capital.
The new Rochester Hills store will open in the Adams Marketplace Plaza, near the intersection of Adams Road and Michigan 59, sometime by the end of the year, according to a C&G Newspaper report.
"It's a great spot for it," Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett told the outlet. "I think it will breathe some new life into that center and I think it will be a big win for that area."

It will be the second Aldi store in Rochester Hills. The first store opened at 1106 Rochester Road in November 2019.
Other Aldi stores are planned to open in Hillsdale and Midland.
