And the Theme for This Year's Christmas Parade is ...

"Inside Santa's Workshop" will be the theme for the 2012 Hometown Christmas Parade.

The Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the theme this week. The parade is planned for Dec. 2, a Sunday.

"Selecting the title 'Inside Santa's Workshop,' the parade will reflect every child's image of that magical factory at the North Pole," a news release stated.

Parade organizers are asking children's groups, community organizations and local businesses to use the parade's theme to create their parade entry.
