Cultural Fair Returns To Rochester Hills: Here's The Lineup
The highly anticipated event is free to the public and is expected to draw hundreds of spectators.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Rochester Hills will celebrate many different cultures with authentic food and entertainment this weekend.
The Rochester Hills Youth Council (RHYC) will once again host their annual Cultural Fair on Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Rochester Christian University’s Garth Pleasant Arena, which is located at 800 W Avon Rd.
The highly anticipated event is free to the public and is expected to draw hundreds of spectators. Here is the entertainment lineup:

- Indian Instrumental and Gatka- Indian Martial Arts by the Sikh of Rochester Hills
- Karate Demonstration by Inspire Martial Arts
- Irish Step Dance by Motor City Irish Dancers
- Bollywood Fusion Hindi Belly Dance by Dance with Elvana
- Polynesian Dance by Polynesian Dancers of Michigan
- Traditional North Albanian Dances by Gjergj Kartrioti
- Dragon Dance by Rochester High School Chinese Club
- Punjabi Folk Song by Balbir Singh
- Traditional Chinese Dance by the Association of Chinese Americans
- Traditional Indian Dance by the Raakhe Virse De
"I think it’s truly amazing that we’re able to come together as a council and plan an event of this magnitude. It’s incredible to see our work creating an impact not only in the government, but also within our community," RHYC Secretary Siddh Sheth said.
In addition to live performances, guests will have the opportunity to engage in various cultural activities, including Chinese calligraphy, henna art, face painting and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, along with a delectable array of complimentary cuisines.

The Rochester Hills Youth Council partnered with the Rochester Christian University, Oceania Inn, Somerset Early Childhood Learning Center and GexPro to host the event.
"Thanks to the hard work and passion of our young leaders, this event has grown from an internal event at City Hall to a large public event open to the entire community," Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan K. Barnett said. "We look forward to celebrating the many different cultures and communities that call Rochester Hills home."
