'D’Marcos' Italian Restaurant To Replace Rojo Mexican Bistro
The new restaurant is expected to open in late January or early February.

ROCHESTER - Six months after Downtown Rochester's popular Rojo Mexican Bistro because of a salmonella outbreak, a new Italian restaurant will take its spot at the corner of Main and Fourth streets, according to a Crain’s Detroit Business report.
“D’Marcos” will feature classic Italian dishes, but also offer plenty of other options for about $20-$30 for dinner. After extensive remodeling, the restaurant is expected to open in late January or early February, Crain’s reported.
“Nearly everything in the restaurant is being torn out and replaced, aside from the cooking line, he said. A new entrance, window treatments and awning will surround D'Marcos' goldleaf, neon sign, which will be 7 feet high by 13 feet long.”
"We're on a premium corner in town here and we want to live up to that with the design," co-owner Michael Thomas said.
