DETROIT, MI — There’s nothing like the Ford Fireworks to kick off the week preceding the 4th of July. This is the 59th year for the fireworks display along the Detroit River and 1 Hart Plaza. The show starts at 9:48 p.m. on Monday, June 26.
Admission is free, but get there early because the fireworks are a Metro Detroit favorite More than 10,000 pyrotechnic fireworks are shot off from three barges on the Detroit River. The big party includes music, singing competitions and other events. Read the rest of the story here.
