Driver Crosses Lanes To Hit Woman Walking Dog: Police
A woman is injured and her dog is dead after a driver crossed lanes in the road to hit them while they were taking a walk, authorities said.

ORION TOWNSHIP, MI — Police are offering a reward for anyone with information that leads to the arrest of a driver who crossed lanes to strike a 66-year-old woman walking her dog in Orion Township Wednesday morning, killing her pet.
Police said the woman was walking near Morgan Road and Homesite Drive in the eastbound lane so she could see oncoming traffic when a driver coming down the road crossed over from the westbound into the eastbound lane and struck the woman and her 10-year-old poodle from behind at around 7 a.m.
The driver reportedly kept going and eventually a passing motorist called 911 for the woman. She suffered a fractured arm and the dog’s body was picked up by the Oakland Animal Shelter, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
