Full 2016 Detroit Lions Schedule: Every Game, TV Schedule, Tickets
You can go ahead and start making those plans for the fall. Here's what you need to know.

DETROIT, MI – The NFL has released its full 2016 schedule, giving fans plenty of time to make their plans for the upcoming season.
The Detroit Lions will have at least two nationally televised games — the Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, which will be broadcast as part of NFL’s “cross-flex” scheduling, and a Dec. 26 game against the Cowboys, which will be broadcast by ESPN on Monday Night Football.

Here is the full schedule (all times are Eastern):
- Sunday, Sept. 11, against the Colts at Indianapolis, 4:25 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Sept. 18, at home against the Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Sept. 25, against Packers at Green Bay, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Oct. 2, against the Bears at Chicago, 1 p.m.. kickoff
- Sunday, Oct. 9, at home against the Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Oct. 16, at home against the Los Angeles Rams, 1 p.m.. kickoff
- Sunday, Oct. 23, at home against the Washington Redskins, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Oct. 30, against the Texans at Houston, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Nov. 6, against the Vikings at Minneapolis, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Nov. 20, at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Thursday, Nov. 24, at home against the Minnesota Vikings 12:30 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Dec. 4, against the Saints at New Orleans, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Dec. 11, at home against the Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Dec. 18, against the Giants at New York, 1 p.m. kickoff
- Monday, Dec. 26, against the Cowboys at Dallas, 9:30 p.m. kickoff
- Sunday, Jan. 1, at home against the Green Bay Packers, 1 p.m. kickoff
The NFL gets started on Thursday, Sept. 8, when the Carolina Panthers will travel to Denver to face the Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl 50. It will be the first time that a Super Bowl rematch has started the season and just the seventh time in league history that Super Bowl teams have played each other in the following regular season.

A Monday Night Football double-header will finish off week one, with a matchup between the Washington Redskins and the Pittsburgh Steelers followed by the Los Angeles Rams playing the San Francisco 49ers.
Thursday Night Football — which this year will be broadcast live on Twitter — begins in week two with a game between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills.
