Man Arrested After Police Recover Knife From Car

The following information was provided by Rochester Police. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Rochester Police stopped a driver in a silver Saab traveling northbound on Main Street at University on July 1 after noticing one of the car's headlights was out, according to a police report.

When police spoke with the driver, a 20-year-old Auburn Hills resident, they noticed a large knife in the back of the car. The man was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon in a motor vehicle and was released the following day pending further investigation.
